CS2 adds a defuse-kit marker and speeds up AUG reloads
Valve’s October 8 update adds a marker for dropped defuse kits and cuts the AUG reload time by half a second. It also fixes sound issues and includes stability changes.

Valve released a Counter-Strike 2 update on October 8. Dropped defuse kits now have a ping icon, and the AUG reload takes half a second less. Both changes are useful to know before your next match.
The patch also fixes a sound issue during the Desert Eagle’s silent reload and buzzing during demo playback. Rush maps receive clipping fixes, alongside localization and stability updates.
For players in Algeria, these notes explain changes to the game. They do not announce an FPS increase or new hardware requirements. Check the official source before changing your setup; reading and understanding this patch does not require buying a graphics card.
